Mechanism of Action
Kisspeptin is a hypothalamic neuropeptide encoded by the KISS1 gene that acts as the master regulator of the reproductive axis by binding the GPR54 (KISS1R) receptor on GnRH neurons, triggering pulsatile gonadotropin-releasing hormone secretion and downstream LH/FSH release.
